新世纪新阶段统一战线的基本特征

我国现代化建设进入全面建设小康社会新阶段后,统一战线呈现以下基本特征:联盟基础即领导阶级的执政能力、国家综合实力空前强大,工农联盟空前巩固,统一战线空前团结;统一战线在党的执政能力建设、政治文明建设、社会调控中的战略地位更为突出;统一战线在凝聚力量、构建社会主义和谐社会、促进发展、推进政治文明建设、抵御"渗透"、促进祖国统一等方面的任务更为繁重.

Basic Features of the United Front in the New Century

In the newstage of building an overall well-to-do society,the United Front has the following basic features:(a)the ruling competency of the leading class and the comprehensive strength of the State become unprecedentedly strong,the worker-peasant alliance becomes unprecedentedly solid,and the United Front becomes unprecedentedly united;(b)the strategic position of the United Front becomes more prominent in the construction of the Party's ruling competency,the construction of political civilization and the social control;(c)the tasks become more arduous for the United Front to pool the strength,build a socialist concord society,accelerate development,promote the construction of political civilization,resist"infiltration"and promote the reunification of China.
