| Abstract: | Being aimed at the problems existed in shipping practice, this paper gives a detailed discussion on the definition, rights,obligations and liabilities of the contracting shipper in accordance with relative national law and foreign laws. Some suggestions of amending and completing the provisions of the contracting shipper in CMC are given in this paper as well. |
