Semi God Life and Semi Human Being :The Belief Career of Yutang Lin

Both Confucian and Tao's philosophy constructed the base of Lin's humanistic spirit.He gave the affirmation to the practical modern worth of Confuciansism and thought that the essence of Confucianism was a kind of proper way of 'Humanism';on the other hand,Taoism was also recommended by Lin,and he considered Tao "prefering nature and sense",and "the Romantic class of Chinese thought".However,between Confucianism and Taoism, Lin was often in the contradiction between"into-society"and"out-society". But with his wisdom, he believed in the"achievement"from Confucianism and the "lack"from Taoism, just taking the two beliefs' advantages for himself. From both Confucianism and Taoism, he pursued the achievements in the society and the Zhuang's freedom as god. "Semi God Life and Semi Human Being"is his belief career.
