文化全球化表现为文化在更大范围、更多领域的传播与交流，突破了封闭状态；文化传播方式的高技术化；文化在全球范围内相互影响，相互吸收。文化全球化的发展对国家安全的影响已经引起了广泛的关注。西方国家利用强大而系统的物质基础和组织推广文化、价值观念和生活方式，进行文化侵略和扩张；我国传统文化受到冲击；文化全球化对中国意识形态形成挑战。对此，应采取走出去战略，参与文化全球化进程，争取文化全球化权益；加强民族传统文化教育；加强文化认同，维护社会意识形态。
