| Abstract: | The issue of euthanasia has been a controversial problem newly put forth both at home and abroad. And it has been also regarded as an illicit act. This article, therefore, makes comparative research on the status quo of and their respective legislations for euthanasia in the United States, Australia and China. The author maintains that the legislation for euthanasia should not violate the typical principles of unharmfulness, nonsuffering and should not go counter to the will of the individual. |
