Fire needle therapy might be an appropriate treatment method for this disease, while there are few related studies. By summarizing the clinical experience of ancient and modern physicians in the treatment of nonpuerperal mastitis using fire needle therapy, this article specifies the indication, contraindication, operation methods, and precautions in the treatment of nonpuerperal mastitis by fire needle therapy.
