| Abstract: | The system of China-Appointed Attesting Officers has been promoting and protecting the legitimate interests and rights of Hong Kong residents and legal persons in the Mainland, and the innovative system has also been boosting personnel exchanges between two sides, playing an important role in boosting economic growth and social stability and prosperity since the year 1981 when it was formally introduced. In the course of those 30 years＇ experience, the system of China-Appointed Attesting Officers as an institutional innovation has been growing and approaching perfection day by day, becoming an effective channel through which notary deeds issued by the mainland or Hong Kong could be recognized and used by each other. |
