Unification of Urban Planning in Northeast China under the Guidance of Scientific Conception of Development

In the new era the scientific conception of development is not only the strategetic guideline of China's construction but also the guidance to the transformation of urban planning. What are essential to the rejuvenation of the old industrial base in northeast China lie in regional unification and the mutual coordination among the cities in northeast China. Apart from these, the development planning of northeast China focusing on urban areas should be investigated and carried out. Based on the above mentioned factors, the article proposes the strategic planning dealing with the development of cities as a whole in northeast China.
