森林警院办学特色探索

南京森林警察学院升格为本科院校后，面临着机遇与挑战。办好森林警院，必须要立足林业，面向公安。要调整教育理念，适应林业发展对森林公安人才的需要；要认识到办好学院的重要性；在学科建设、课程设置、人才培养内容等方面，突出森林公安特色，培养出符合新世纪社会要求的复合应用型警务人才。

Run Forest Police College Well and Highlight Characteristics of Forest Police

Nanjing Forest Police College is faced with many new opportunities and challenges since it has been upgraded to undergraduate college. Based on realities, this article tends to advocate the ways of how to run an undergraduate college well. Firstly, keep a foothold at forestry oriented to police; secondly, adjust our education concept to satisfy the requirement of forestry development for cultivating forest police talents; thirdly, recognize the significance of running college well; and lastly, highlight characteristics of forest police on discipline construction, curriculum and talent training and other aspects with the purpose of cultivating compound-applied police talents in the new century.
