| Abstract: | The relationship between civil society and a country underlies not merely its ethical foundation but also its basis of theory of knowledge. The difficulty to the constitutional state in modern China lies in destitution of civil society. Both China's traditional culture with its long history and its status quo determine the fact that it is hardly possible that China should take only civil society as its social mode exclusive of taking a road set by western countries. |
