毛泽东的道德信仰与儒家伦理思想——纪念毛泽东诞生120周年

＂Cultivate one＇s morality to govern the country＂ is a profound cultural phenomenon in Confucian- ism. All previous Confucians treated lofty moral beliefs as important means to realize life value and achieve per- fect personality, and established systematic ethical thought. In the process of Chinese revolution and socialist construction, Mao Zedong extracted a lot of ideological resource from the Confucian ethics, and combined the Party＇s thought construction to criticize, absorb and carry forward the thought. Then it formed a moral belief theory, which took ＂serve the people wholeheartedly＂ as main content, ＂selflessness＂ as value orientation, ＂criticism and self- criticism＂ as basic approach, ＂Communism advanced model＂ as lofty pursuit.
