How to Make the Rules of Admissibility of Expert Opinions in China: From the Perspective of American Criteria of Admissibility of Expert Testimonies

In China,few judges hold a substantive examination of the reliability of expert opinions.The sophistication of American rules of admissibility of expert testimonies now urges us that it is not unnecessary to reconsider the examination and certification of expert opinions in China.To build up a framework to examine expert opinions,especially to lay down the rules to certify the reliability of opinions,is conducive both to preventing pseudoscience from access to justice and preventing a judge from abuse of discretion.Thus judges may be positively encouraged to examine and certify expert opinions appropriately.
