Economic globalization refers to the process that market economy is popularized throughout the world and that market economy is unprecedently developed in the new historical period. Economic globalization brings not only opportunities for development but also challenges. Members in the international community will become increasingly interdependent through acute competition and close cooperation. Economic diplomacy has an irreplaceable role in economic globalization. To prevent economic globalization falling in to the hands of a few countries and the monopoly capital, it is necessary to establish a new system of economic diplomacy to promote economic globalization to develop on a fair and efficient basis. This is a brand new topic in foreign policies and diplomatic activities of all countries in the 21st century.
