在秦汉统一多民族国家内,各民族有了大的发展,民族间的交流达到了一个新高度,但民族关系仍然紧张,以矛盾冲突为主的汉匈民族关系、汉越民族关系构成了秦汉时期民族关系的主要方面和基本内容,而民族的分化、重组与融合却为中华民族的形成与发展产生了动力,为汉民族的发展注入了新鲜血液。

Comment on the Ethnic Interactivities during the Qin and Han Dynasties

During the Qin and Han Dynasties, China was a unified multi-ethnic nation. Each ethnic group had enjoyed great development and ethnic exchanges had reached a higher stage. However, ethnic tension was still there. Particularly the conflicts between the Han and the Xiongnu and the conflicts between the Han and the Yue reflected the protruding problems of ethnic relations then. Meanwhile, it must be noted that ethnic separation and ethnic reunion has greatly promoted the formation of the Chinese nation and provided new sustenance for the development of the Han ethnic group.
