董仲舒"《诗》无达诂"的思想及其现代意义

Dong Zhongshu's Ideology of "Plural Interpretation of the Book of Songs" and Its Contemporary Significance

Dong Zhongshu advanced the idea of plural interpretations instead of single interpretation for the Book of Songs and the Spring and Autumn.It means that there is no permanence in meaning,but unity of the opposites of constancy and change.Change shows the pluralism and openness of the meaning of classics.The interpreter could interpret the classics creatively.Constancy means the steadiness of the meaning of classics.The interpreter could not interpret the classics willfully,which may lead to relativism.DongZhongshu's idea revealed some common features of text interpretation,which is accordant with the basic opinion of Western hermeneutics.Therefore it has a very important contemporary significance.
