传统节日节物的性别修辞与符号指述关系研究——以"端午索"为例

中国传统节日节物是节日文化的物质载体,也是人类"意义生产"的特殊载体.节俗活动和节物也可看成主体的一种"言说"行为,具有一定的修辞功能.端午节历史上一个重要节物--"端午索"就极具性别修辞意义和符号指述关系.社会生产和分工是端午索确立女性修辞的技术基础和物质前提.端午索的修辞意义及其指述关系大致可分为夫妻指向的符号意义和母子关系的符号意义.这两种修辞意义及其指述关系既存在共同点,又具有差异性.深入研究包括端午索在内的众多传统节日节物的性别修辞与符号指述关系,对当今继承和发扬传统节日文化具有十分重要的现实意义.

Relationships between Symbolic References and Gender Rhetoric of Artifacts Used at Chinese Traditional Festivals: A Case Study of "The Cords Used at Dragon Boat Festival"

Artifacts used at Chinese traditional festivals are a material vehicle to carry through a festive culture.They are also a special carrier to convey meanings produced by human beings.Festival activities and the artifacts used at festivals can be regarded as the "words and expressions" of the users,and they have certain rhetoric functions.The cords used at Dragon Boat Festival,one of the important material object used at Dragon Boat Festival in history,have particular gendered meaning and symbolic references.The social production and the division of labor are the technical base and material prerequisite for the female rhetoric of the cords used at the Dragon Boat Festival.The rhetoric meaning and the references of the cords used at Dragon Boat Festival can be divided into symbolic meaning of husbands and wives,and symbolic meaning of mothers and children.The two not only have some in common,but also are different from each other.Studying the gender rhetoric and symbolic references of the artifacts used at Chinese traditional festivals,including the cords used at Dragon Boat Festival,is very important in order to bring forth new ideas in carrying forward traditional festive culture.
