Understand Socialism Correctly so as to Stick to and Develop Socialism

The emerging of socialist countries is a great progress of human history. The drastic change of the Eastern Europe and the disintegration of the former Soviet Union are not the failures of socialist system or principles but the failure of a certain specific mode of socialism. The development of socialism is a long and arduous process with a bright future. Thus, facing the globalization of economy and the multi polarization of the international situation, the Chinese Communist Party and its people should grasp the opportunity, meet the challenge and speed up the process of building the socialism with typical Chinese characteristics.
