Quake - relief Efforts Signifying Spirit of Human Rights

Human rights are the common demand of people worldwide.The undertaking of human rights has made significant achievements since the foundation of New China,especially over the last 30 years when China has adopted opening-up and reform policy.The disaster-relief efforts in quake-hit Wenchuan county,Sichuan province has achieved a decisive phase-based triumph and highlighted the respect and guarantee for human rights. The quake-relief efforts are enriched with people-oriented ideal,igniting the spirit of human rights.It has also embodied the theory of the human rights with Chinese characteristics.The priority of respect and safeguard in terms of human rights is to honor the value of life;the core is to ensure everyone enjoys comprehensive rights;the empha- sis is to adhere to the state strategy based on rule of law;the key is to exert the subjective activation of human;the basis is to enhance the important role of science and technology.
