农民工的社会融合与社会管理——政府、市场和社会三部门视角下的研究

在三部门的整体架构下分析政府、市场和社会对农民工社会融合影响的实证研究还很少.本文利用2009年X市农民工和市民的调查数据时三部门与农民工社会融合之间的关系进行了研究.农民工的社会融合包括文化融合、社会经济融合和心理融合等三个维度.论文发现政府、市场和社会对农民工社会融合三个维度的影响存在差异.政府和市场均对文化融合没有影响,仅社会对文化融合有显著影响.农民工与当地市民的社会互动和在迁入地的居住时间有利于他们习得城市社会文化.政府、市场和社会对农民工的社会经济融合和心理融合均有显著影响,政府还通过市场和社会对社会融合有间接影响.论文的重要发现是社会互动和社会参与有力地促进了农民工的社会融合.论文结论对相关公共政策的制定具有重要启示.

Social Integration of Rural-Urban Migrants and Social Management:A Three Sectors Perspective including Government,Market,and Civil Society

There has been little empirical study that examines the role of government,market,and civil society in the social integration of rural-urban migrants from a three sectors perspective.Using the data from a 2009 survey of rural-urban migrants and local residents in X City,this paper investigates the relationships between the three sectors and migrant integration.Migrant integration is assessed with respect to three dimensions: acculturation,socioeconomic integration,and psychological integration.The results reveal that government,market,and civil society play very different roles in the three dimensions of migrant integration.Neither government nor market has effect on acculturation of rural-urban migrants,only civil society is significantly associated with acculturation.Social interaction with local residents and duration of stay are two major factors that affect migrants’ culture learning in city society.All of these three sectors are significantly related to socioeconomic and psychological integration.The effects of government on socioeconomic and psychological integration are partially mediated by market and civil society.The major finding is that social interaction with local residents in cities and social participation in communities may assist in enhancing the integration of rural-urban migrants.The findings on the role of the three sectors in migrant integration carry far-reaching policy implications.Article Type: Research paper
