维护职工权益是工会对职工的义务

现在在理论界、工会界认为工会维护职工权益是工会的权利,但实际上,工会维权对职工来讲是义务。原先只强调权利不强调义务,导致工会放弃作为权利性质的维权,从而损害了职工的利益;强调维权属于义务,则能够敦促工会履行维护职工权益的基本职责,而不致放弃自己的义务。

Safeguarding Workers' Rights and Interests is the Duty of Trade Unions

Theoretical circles and those people who engage in trade union study think that trade unions' rights include safeguarding workers' rights and interests. But in fact, trade unions' protection of rights is the duty of workers. Originally trade union stressed rights not duty. That resulted trade unions to give up the protection of rights, then harmed the workers' interests. The protection of rights belongs to duty. This idea can urge trade unions to perform their basic responsibility of protecting workers' rights and interests,but not give up their duty.
