| 摘 要： | 专门用途英语(ESP)是20世纪60年代发展起来的一种以专业需求为基础的实用型英语教学理论,并已成为21世纪英语教学的发展趋势。目前,专门用途英语(ESP)教学已经在我国众多高等学校蓬勃兴起,培养了大批既懂外语又懂专业知识的复合型人才,在一定程度上满足了我国社会主义经济建设发展对复合型人才的需求。但是,我国ESP理论尚存在许多亟须解决的问题,国外关于ESP的理论是很好的借鉴。
