摘    要:教学翻译法在国外的外语教学界的地位几经沉浮。随着21世纪应用语言学和翻译学理论的不断发展和完善,人们再次以新的目光审视和评价这种教学方法,探讨在理解翻译本质并有一个合理的理论框架指导的前提下,如何适当掌握其在课堂中的运用,使其能有效促进外语学习中听、说、读、写四项技能的提高。借鉴国外研究成果,针对中国国情,我国研究者在大学英语的教学翻译法的改革探索中,也提出了提高大学生外语能力的指导性建议。

Abstract:Pedagogical translation in foreign language teaching abroad has undergone ups and downs.Recent developments in applied linguistics and translation theories has made it possible for us to examine and evaluate this teaching approach with a new point of view.On the premise that the essence of translation is grasped and a rational theoretical framework is built,people are studying how to operate pedagogical translation in the classroom and how to improve effectively students listening comprehension,speaking,reading and writing skills.By referring to foreign experience and adapting to Chin's specific situation,researchers also put forward some directive proposals for the reform of pedagogical translation to improve undergraduate English competence.
