论高职英语教学中社会文化能力的培养

摘    要:高职英语教学的目标是培养学生的语言应用能力。语言的学习离不开特定的社会文化环境,在语言教学过程中忽视社会文化能力的培养,就会在跨文化交际中产生"文化休克"现象。高职英语教学应重视培养学生的社会文化能力,使文化教学和语言教学相辅相成,最终达到语言为交际服务的目的。

Abstract:The aim of English teaching in higher vocational education is to foster student's ability of applying language.Language learning is a part of special social cultural circumstance.If social cultural ability is neglected in language teaching process,there will be "cultural shock" in inter-culture intercommunication.English teaching in higher vocational education should pay attention to foster student's social and cultural ability and to make culture teaching and language teaching supplement each other,so as to gain the end of language servicing intercommunication.
