| Abstract: | As a famous American philosopher and educator,Dewey's philosophical theory and educational ideas had a significant impact on Japan. While western culture and educational ideas began to pour into Japan at the beginning of 20th century,Dewey's educational ideas was introduced into Japan as a foreign thinking and played a very important role in the history of Japanese culture and education. |
