试论公安院校的素质教育

公安院校只有重视学生全面素质的培养,才能实施科教强警战略,培养党和人民满意的高素质的人民警察。为此,公安教育必须进行改革。首先,要改变只重视专业素质、忽视非专业素质培养的教育思想和观念以及急功近利的做法;其次,要改革教学内容,建立科学的课程体系;再次,要改进教学方法,提高教育质量和效率,并加强教育理论学习和开展教学科研活动。

On Quality-oriented Education in Police Colleges

The police colleges must devote much attention to the training of students' all-round quality in order to reinforce the police troops by science and education and train more qualified policemen for the Party and our people,hence it's necessary to reform our pub-lic security education:Firstly,we should not only devote attention to the training of professional quality while neglect all-round quality;Secondly,we should reform the contents of education and offer more scientific courses;Thirdly,we should not only improve the teaching methods,quality and efficiency but further study educational theories and develop an teaching and research program.
