Reduction because of hospitalization--VA. Final rule

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has amended its adjudication regulations on reductions of pensions of certain veterans receiving institutional care. These amendments are based on recently enacted legislation and further consideration of previous legislation. The intended effect of these amendments is to minimize pension reductions when VA provides institutional care.
