云南省美沙酮维持治疗实施情况调研报告

The research report of the implementation situation of methadone maintenance therapy in Yunnan Province

Investigation report confirms that: drug use through the sharing of needles is the main way to spread HIV ; To car-ry out methadone maintenance treatment in drug users is effective measure to prevent and control the spread of AIDS. Yunnan Province is the earliest province to carry out methadone maintenance treatment and it has the largest number of outpatient depart-ments. Through research, we found that there are many problems in methadone maintenance treatment in, therefore, it is neces-sary to study and analyze these existing problems and propose a solution.
