Effects of Global Energy Environment on India’s Economic Rise

The rise of Indian economy speeds up industrialization and urbanization at national level.As a result,India enhances reliance on global energy scenario and becomes increasingly sensitive to ever-changing energy environment.Through the interactions between price fluctuation in energy market and the shifting politics of global energy,the patterns and the process of Indian economy’s rise are deeply affected.India’s energy strategy needs to reduce the sensitivity and vulnerability to the global energy environment so as to secure stable and effective energy supply.
