| Abstract: | The exploitation and export of oceanic oil and gas play an important role in Brunei's national economy.But,Brunei can not afford enough power to defend its sea security.So it is the only choice for Brunei to look for help through regional security mechanism.By the means of balancing among big powers and taking part in the collective security system,Brunei has been realizing its purpose to protect its vested interest in the South China Sea. |
