| 摘 要： | 《秀拉》是美国著名女作家托妮·莫里森的代表作之一。长期以来，人们不断对其进行深入研究，发现这部写作手法精妙的小说具有进行多角度解读的可能性。从自然主义的视角探讨这部作品可以发现，主人公秀拉的悲剧是由她的家庭遗传与社会环境和特定历史时代诸多因素交互作用造成的。

| Abstract: | Tony Morrison＇ Sula is regarded as an important novel about female life in America and has become one of the feminist classics. Through continuous studies on this novel, people have found that it can be interpreted from different kinds of perspectives. This paper focuses on interpreting the themes of Sula from a naturalist perspective. It shows that environment and biology play a key role in the protagonist - Sula＇ s self - development. |
