| Abstract: | The related experimental studies on anti inflammatory and immunological effects of moxibustory were systematically summarized.The anti inflammatory and immunological effects of moxibustion were related with its enhancing and improving body immune function, protecting immune organs, correcting metabolic disorder of free radicals, redressing disequilibrium of nitric oxide, noradrenalin, 5 hydroxytryptamine, and stabili zing homeostasis.A serials of experiments show that the peripheral sympathetic nerve partakes in immune regulation of moxibustion; the action of moxibustion partly relates to adrenal cortex system; hippocampus may be an important link in central integration of therapeutic information of moxibustion; hypothalamic pituitary adrenal axis is a key path of neurohumoral regulation in moxibustion treatment; conarium may be an upper regulating point of anti inflammatory and immunological action of moxibustion. |
