略论我国近代警察行政创立初期的警察分类

清朝末年,伴随着近代警察行政的创立及西方警政学说的传入,关于警察分类问题的研究和理论阐释不断地深入和完善。虽然此时的警察分类还主要是工作性质上的分类,而非职业意义上分类,但通过当时所划分的不同警察类别及各自职责,我们可以看到警察行政初创时期,警察已被赋予了广泛的政治职能和社会服务职能,这对我们研究近代警察行政初创时期的警务学术思想具有重要意义。

Discussions on the Police Classification in the Start-ups of the Modern Police Administration in China

With the establishment of the modern police administration and the introduction of police administration theory from the western countries, studies and theoretical interpretations about the police classification have been further promoted and improved. The police classification is, for the most part, the classification of the job nature rather than vocation classification. However, based on the different police categories and the their respective responsibilities, we can observe that the police were entrusted with the widespread political function and social service function during the start-ups of the police administration, which is of great significance for research on the police academic thought during start-ups of the modern police administration.
