| 摘 要： | 实施素质教育是新时期教育改革的根本方向 ,对于起步晚、底子薄、处于初级发展阶段的公安高等院校而言 ,加快教育改革步伐、搞好素质教育的关键是全面提高公安教师队伍的整体素质。本文从分析目前公安高等院校教师队伍中普遍存在的知识结构方面的不足和缺陷入手 ,着重探讨了公安高等院校教师知识结构优化转型的必要性及其对素质教育将会产生的重大影响 ,提出了重量型、综合型、开放型和创造型四者合而为一的新型知识结构体系
