贵州经济整体欠发达,以资源为导向形成的能源、冶金、化工等支柱产业,对环境的污染和破坏大,不能为贵州经济发展提供强大而持久的动力。要突破贵州目前经济发展中的"瓶颈",调整产业结构,寻找新的经济增长点,充分利用各种资源优势,是未来贵州经济可持续发展的关键。贵州有着得天独厚的旅游资源,目前,旅游资源的开发和利用仍然处于较低的水平,但旅游业的发展空间很大,对贵州未来经济发展至关重要。

GuiZhou Tourism Development——Issues and Resolution

GuiZhou is an underderexoped prorince.Methods such as resources extraction, metallurgy, and chemical manufacturing are viable in the short term. In the long run, such resource-oriented strategies and their associated environmental damage are not sustainable. To break this bottleneck, we must restructure the industries and fully take advantage of the resources to fuel a clean and feasible economic growth. Tourism is a renewable resource that fits such requirements. GuiZhou is uniquely gifted with rich splendor of nature and great year-round weather. Currently, GuiZhou＇s tourism development is still rudimentary and has much room for expansion. Its improvement is critical to the future of GuiZhou economical growth.
