A Study on Spoken English Teaching Strategy Highlighting the Characteristics of Public Security

With the constant deepening of national opening-up and police system reform,it becomes a real challenge for English teachers from police academies to enhance the students＇ spoken English abilities whose major is public security,which is the key to the enhancement of all-round English proficiency for the police.The article tries to study more viable teaching strategies from the perspective of task-based approach with the aim of improving the students＇ spoken English abilities to satisfy the increasing needs of foreign police affairs.
