On-the-spot investigation of traffic accidents,different from that of a crime and common judicial administrative activities,is an important component of the conduct of traffic accidents.It includes the investigation of the nature,the processes,the causes and results and other relative aspects of the accidents.Measures generally taken to handle the accidents are:spot interview,spot photograph,spot survey and drawing,spot recording and spot inspection as well as collecting traces on the spot as material evidences.A scientific,standardized and effective on-the-spot investigation system of traffic accidents should be built to garantee the objectivity,justice and efficiency in accident inspections.
