外语教育中的文化教学

摘    要:文化可以分为两大类 ,即知识文化和交际文化。在外语教育中 ,这两类文化都应当涉及。适合中国大学英语教育的文化教学模式应该是一个三维的教学模式 ,即从知识、行为、交际三方面着手进行综合的文化教学。在实际教学中 ,外语教师应当充分利用各种教学手段 ,组织丰富多彩的教学活动 ,为学生提供能运用外语交流的环境 ,创造一个相应的文化氛围。

Abstract:Culture can be dealt with in two categories: "highbrow culture" and "lowbrow culture". Both of these two cultures should be referred to in the education of foreign language. The cultural pattern for teaching the college English courses in China should be a tri-dimensional model in that a comprehensively cultural teaching might be undertaken in the respects of knowledge, behavior, and communication. As for an actual teaching, the teacher should make full use of varying teaching facilities, and conduct a variety of interesting activities. As a result, this will lead to an appropriately cultural mood and a language environment in which the students have an opportunity to communicate with a foreign language.
