Institution:Bryce E. Sullivan is an assistant professor of psychology at Southern Illinois University ot Edwardsville. He earned his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from The Ohio State University. His research interests include the relationship beliefs of married and unmarried couples.;Andrew I. Schwebel (born 1943-died 1996) was a professor of psychology at The Ohio State University. Among his published books are Understanding and Helping Families: A Cognitive Behavioral Model with M. A. Fine;Student Teacher's Handbook (3d ed) with B. L. Schwebel, C. R. Schwebel, and M. Schwebel;and Personal Growth and Adjustment: A Life-Span (2nd ed.) with H. Barocus. W Reichman, and M. Schwebel. Dr. Schwebel published more than 100 articles in professional journals, including many on the topic of marriage and families.;Jessica Shimberg Lind is the director of community programs at the Ohio Commission on Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management. In her work, she collaborates with state agencies, courts, and community organizations to create, implement, and evaluate pilot dispute resolution projects. She also designs and conducts mediation, negotiation, and conflict management training.
