The Emergence and Development of Chinese Modern Civil Procedural Law

The Modern Chinese civil procedural law is germinated in the later half of 19th century, emerged in the Qing dynasty and basically completed in the thirties of 20th century. Reviewing the history, it is helpful for us to clearly understand the historical origin of Chinese civil procedural law and deepen the apprehension of Chinese civil procedural legal tradition so as to promote the establishing activities of the new Chinese civil procedural law.
