司法鉴定与“案结事了”

A Research on Expert Opinion and ＂Preventing Post-decision Disputes＂

This paper, by analyzing a criminal case involving forensic identification results, discusses the significance of forensic examination with emphasis on the negative effect of the existing problematic forensic identification system on ＂preventing post-decision disputes＂. The forensic identification system has close bearing on the prevention of post-decision disputes, and its reform exerts heavy influence on the end of justice. With special stress on fairness and justice, which is an easy target of blind trust or belief in the so-called authoritative expert opinions, this paper points out that a proper expert assistant （something like expert witness in the Anglo-American System） system will be conducive to preventing post-decision disputes.
