Achieving Co-ordinated Development of Urban and Rural Areas by Industry Supporting Agriculture

Problems facing agriculture,rural areas and farmers,are a hot topic the public are paying close attention to at the current time. Having given a serious exploration of the interaction of industry and agriculture and, problems facing agriculture,rural areas and farmers, in light of the concrete realities at home and abroad and in different stages of the development of Chinese history,the author of the article presents his ideas that the government should give greater policy support to farms, that urban areas should absorb as many rural residents as possible and that township enterprises should be strengthened further with a view to stimulating the co-ordinated development of urban and rural areas.
