本文对第三产业发展进程中女性地位受到的双重影响进行了分析。指出:一方面,第三产业中的知识密集型行业为高素质女性的发展提供了广阔的天地,其中的劳动密集型行业也为农村女劳力的转移和城镇下岗女职工找到了再就业的出路。另一方面,大量女性在第三产业中的职业下沉和发展初期出现的社会保障盲区也造成了她们社会地位的下降。文章认为,应该用社会性别视角重新审视第三产业的性别分工;以人为本,树立现代服务意识;全面提高第三产业的职业声望;加强职业培训,提高第三产业从业者的职业素质;大力发展新兴服务业,鼓励更多的女性向高层次的第三产业流动,不断完善社会保障体系,为女性解除后顾之忧;让第三产业成为提升女性地位的积极力量。

The Rise and Fall of Women's Status in the Development of the Tertiary Industry

This essay is an analysis of the twofold impact on women's status imposed by the development of the tertiary industry.On the one hand,knowledge-intensive industries in the tertiary industry have opened wide avenues for high-competence women's development while labor-intensive industries in it have also provided opportunities for rural female workforce's shift and for urban female laidoffs' reemployment.On the other hand,the occupational subsidence of large numbers of women in the tertiary industry and the emergence of the social security blind zones in the initial period of development have caused the fall of women's social status.The essay suggests the following ways for improvement:re-examine the division of labor between the sexes in the tertiary industry through the gender perspective;put people first and foster a sense of modern service;enhance the occupational prestige of the tertiary industry in all aspects;improve professional training and enhance the professional competence of those engaged in the tertiary industry;promote the newly emerging service trades,encourage women to shift to high-level trades in the tertiary industry,and continuously improve the social security system to free women of their worries;and make tertiary industry an active force in boosting women's status.
