| Abstract: | Female-headed households are families which are headed by women.Female-headed households in the Song Dynasty had the following characteristics.Firstly,female-headed households had male members.Secondly,there was a stronger tendency for fe-male-headed households to merge in other social groups.Finally,female-headed households were able to obtain relatively free devel-opment in the Song Dynasty. |
