党的十六届四中全会明确提出了“构建社会主义和谐社会”的新命题,高等教育作为社会的重要组成部分,在构建社会主义和谐社会进程中扮演着重要的角色,高校思想政治工作对和谐社会建设起着重要的促进作用。构建和谐社会,为加强和改进大学教育指明了方向、为高校思想政治教育提出了更高的要求。文章从和谐社会理念入手,针对对高校思想政治教育的启示和要求,从服务体系、科学方法等方面探讨了高校思想政治教育的具体措施。
