为公安院校英语教学目标重新定位

为适应全球化的发展、国际间经济文化的交流与合作,以及高等教育发展的新形势,教育部高教司制定了《大学英语课程教学要求》。该要求将大学英语教学的目标重新定位为:培养学生的综合应用能力,特别是听说能力,同时增强其自主学习能力,提高综合文化素养。就此,应该认真学习其精神实质,力求能为公安院校确定科学、系统、个性化的大学英语教学大纲。

Re-orientation of English Teaching Goals for Police Academies

"Teaching Criteria for College English Course" was formulated by the Higher Learning Department of the Education Ministry to meet the needs of globalization, international exchange and cooperation of economics and culture, and the new situation of higher education development. The criteria re-orientated the college English teaching to: fostering the comprehensive application ability of the students, especially the spoken and listening abilities, improving their ability of self-study and strengthening their comprehensive cultural awareness. We should learn its essence so as to ascertain a scientific, systematic college English teaching outline with our own characteristics for police academies.
