| 摘 要： | “构建社会主义和谐社会”凸显了警察在构建社会主义和谐社会中的地位和作用。警察与民主政治建设的关系、警察职能的发挥、警察权的行使及对构建社会主义和谐社会的影响等一系列理论问题需要我们探讨,其中民主政治建设是构建社会主义和谐社会的重要内容,而民主政治建设与警察及警察权的行使密切相关,主要表现为：警察是国家民主政治的体现,是民主政治的促进和保障力量;建立法治型警察是社会主义民主政治的基本要求。

| Abstract: | The construction of socialist harmonious society makes police role and function clearer in the construction of socialist harmonious society.The relationship between police and democratic political construction,the police function,police power exercising and the influence on the construction of socialist harmonious society should be discussed,and the democratic political construction is the important content in construction of socialist harmonious society.The democratic political construction,police and police power exercising are connected closely,which presents as: police embodies nation-al democratic politics;police is the promoting and guarantee power of democratic politics;the construction of police ruled by law is the basic require of the socialist democratic politics. |
