高职高专英语教学强调"能力为本"是以人才培养目标为依据,突出实际语言应用能力,重在培养操作型和应用型人才。因此,英语作为一门重要的语言课程更应该积极探索新的教学思路及新的教学方法,革新传统的英语教学方法,在教学中注重交流,创造环境,博采众长,结合高职高专学生的特点,创造出行之有效的教学方法,以此推动教学改革,提高教学质量,培养适合社会发展需求的应用型英语人才。

The talent trainng objective of vocational colleges＇ English teaching is to emphasize the ability to use laguage and try to cultivate applied talents.Therefore,as a foreign language course,English teaching should actively explore new teaching ideas,reform the traditional English teaching method,pay attention to communication,create an environment,and combine the characteristics of vocational students to create effective teaching methods so as to promote the teaching reform,improve the quality of teaching and cultivate applied English talent for the society.
