德法并举的传统官员典范——包拯

宋朝包拯以其“一身正气、两袖清风、铁面无私、执法如山”的精神而被广为传颂。他不仅承袭了儒家的传统,而且兼采百家,尤其是法家思想。但是,包拯承袭法家思想的方式并非直接,而是通过荀子的学说实现的。包拯作为荀子学说的实践者实实在在地影响了中国传统法文化,影响了我国古今为官之正道,也影响到了社会民众对官员为官之道的期许。当前,对于倡导德法并举的中国特色为官价值具有积极的借鉴意义。

Model of Traditional Officers with Combination of Ethic and Law——Bao Zheng

Bao Zheng ,the official in Song Dynasty is highly eulogized for his integrity,frugality,honesty and justice.He has not only inherited the tradition of Confucius School ,but incorporated other thoughts,especially the Legalist School.However,it is not directly inherited,but realized through the theories of Xun Zi.As a practitioner of Xun Zi's theory,Bao Zhen has in effect influenced the Chinese traditional legal culture ,the honesty of officials in ancient and modern China and the expectation of the public for the officials.This is of great significance for the value of officials in China,which is characterized by the combination of ethic and law.
