“善”作为中国的宗教伦理

摘    要:在中国快速变迁的经济环境下,善作为中国传统价值中对命运、缘分和报应等信仰的核心存在,是中国道德资本的部分.一些当代的中国人回到传统,从其中的词汇与象征符号中获得个人选择指导来寻求生命的意义和目的.以善为伦理核心的传统道德资本的信仰和实践有助于现代人调适其所处的现代生活环境,并将弥补因为现代化带来的道德与信任的缺失.

Abstract:The Classic of Changes tells that fate is fixed,how can good fortune to be pursued and calamities avoided? In the first section of Classic of Changes it is written:The family that accumulates goodness is sure to have superabundant happiness.The family that accumulates evil is sure to have superabundant misfortune.The belief of moral reciprocity in goodness has been carrying by Chinese people by thousand years.They believe that by doing good,one receives good in return.When one had achieved goodness,one was able to follow the will of heaven as one's own will,integrated the rules of the moral order fully into one's own character.Goodness was an aggregation of specific good deeds,including acts of faith.One became good simply by doing more good deeds,as many high-value good deeds as possible.Belief in goodness encouraged people to devote on merit accumulation.Merit accumulation was a discipline that would lead to coherent,full-rounded goodness.Belief in goodness eventually developed a rich religious culture in Chinese society,including good man,good hall and good book(morality book).
