Developing of Asian Oil Market Order: An Analysis on the Effects of the Oil Shocks on Asian Economy

As the "blood" of the industrial operation,oil is obviously a strategic product which has its important and unique position in economic development and international competition.Oil is now occupying about 40% of the total energy consumption,henceforth its price fluctuation affects almost every area of world economy.In fact,the surging oil price is always regarded as a clearly negative fact to the global inflation and economic development.Facing the internal conflict between demand and supply sides on the crude oil market in the fast growing Asia,whether the existing operation strategy and cooperation framework is capable of dealing with the high oil price? This paper aims at exploring the characteristics of Asian oil market in history and displaying some sort of new analysis and thoughts on the above questions.
